Custom Grips and Knives has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. As part of the normal sales process we collect and, in some instances, disclose information about you.

1. Information Custom Grips and Knives Collects:

Our site's credit card sales form requires users to give us contact information (like your name and email address) and in some cases demographic information (like your zip code). Certain information, such as passwords and e-mail addresses, is collected in order to, among other things, verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our record system. In order to maximize protection of your information, Custom Grips and Knives uses state of the art technology to protect your data from use, misuse or alteration by unauthorized third parties. Custom Grips and Knives uses Secure Socket Layer Software (SSL) to protect your data and secure your transactions. SSL encrypts all your personal information, including your credit card number, name and address as it is transmitted over the Internet. Of course, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and Custom Grips and Knives does not warrant that your information will be absolutely secure. Our web site hosting company has implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. 6. PCI Compliance:

Custom Grips and Knives adheres to international PCI (payment card industry) compliance standards for data security.

PCI Standards Requirements:

Build and Maintain a Secure Network: Custom Grips and Knives has installed and maintains a firewall configuration to protect data.

Do not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters: Custom Grips and Knives uses extremely strong passwords for all functions.

Protect Cardholder Data: All customer data is stored on encrypted computer drives in folders encrypted with PGP Encryption.

Encrypt transmission of cardholder data and sensitive information across public networks: Any customer data is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer or SSL technology. Cardservice International (our credit card processing service) is PCI Compliant as well.

Maintain a Vulnerability Management Program: Custom Grips and Knives uses and regularly updates state of the art antivirus software.

Develop and maintain secure systems and applications: Custom Grips and Knives uses Macintosh Computers exclusively. Macintosh computers are not subject to the extensive list of security vulnerabilities found on other systems.

Restrict access to data by business need-to-know: Customer data is only available to the owner and the employee processing payments.

Assign a unique ID to each person with computer access: Compliant

Restrict physical access to cardholder data: Compliant

Regularly Monitor and Test Networks: Compliant. Custom Grips and Knives tracks and monitors all access to network resources and cardholder data.

Regularly test security systems and processes: Compliant

7. Do we use "cookies"?

Yes.
