We have started a new line of knives under �The Forged Blade� brand. The Forged Blade was conceived as a means of providing top quality forged knives at an affordable price. The knives featured on The Forged Blade are all made by accomplished bladesmiths using the forging method. These bladesmiths also observe American Bladesmith Society (ABS) quality and performance standards and stand behind their work 100%.

We have tested the design of every tactical knife we sell under The Forged Blade brand to ensure that they will perform in combat as well or better than any similar tactical knife on the market. Several prototypes are in use in Iraq and Afghanistan and have performed admirably. A soldier used one to successfully defend himself as a terrorist attacked him during a room-to-room building search in Mosul, Iraq.

Each knife comes with a Spec-Ops Brand Combat Master Sheath.

ABS Master Bladesmith Jason Tiensvold makes this combat-tested and proven knife with a 1/4 inch 1095, 7-inch blade from 1095 high carbon steel. It has an ergonometric black micarta handle with a 416 stainless hilt. A Combat is Master sheath included.

Tac-2 Hand-forged Tactical Knife. Handmade made from forged 1/4 inch 1095 high carbon steel. Differentially heat treated, with a 5 3/4-inch blade. Meets ABS Mastermsith standards for a forged, hand made knife.
