This is a fine set of Compact or Officers 1911 grips made of exhibition grade Spalted Maple wood. This one-of-a-kind set has exceptional book-matched spalt lines with a tremendous depth of chatoyance (3 dimensional effect). The wood is stabilized so they are durable as well as beautiful. The pictures really do not do this set justice. They will make an absolutely stunning addition to any fine Compact or Officers 1911 pistol. Some of the best figured Splated Maple wood you will find anywhere. (Shown with our 12 line blue and our 24 line stainless decorated grip screws--decorated screw sets sold separately)

Our grips are made to exacting specifications with the best quality material available. The critical hole sizes, locations, counter bores, and clearance cuts are thoroughly checked on several frames. These grips fit perfectly on any Colt, Wilson, Springfield Armory, Kimber, Caspian, etc. 1911 style Compact or Officers frames. They have not been relieved for ambidextrous safeties; however, we can do this upon request. An ambi cut typically adds +/- 7 days to the shipping time depending upon when an order is placed. We set the mill up once a week to do ambi cuts.
