Description   This is a set of exceptional knife slabs of bark cut mammoth ivory. Each slab is approximately 1.500 inches wide and .210 inches thick at the center. They are slightly over 4.000 inches long. Because they are bark cut they are thicker in the middle and taper toward the sides; however, this set is very flat. The photos show the top and reverse sides that have been surfaced smooth. These scales are a very attractive Brown and cream, with some blue highlights. They are ready for final fitting, finishing, and application. Please note: Photographing these and getting the color correct is quite a challenge. My description of the color is what I see; however, you may return them if you are not satisfied.
