This is a fine set of Government 1911 grips made of exhibition grade Asian Narra Wood--our first time to use this wood. This one-of-a-kind set has exceptional figure with a tremendous depth of chatoyance (3 dimensional effect). The pictures really do not do this set justice--as usual, I am photographically challenged as I attempt to photograph a 3-dimensional effect in a 2 dimension medium. Every where you see a color transition in the picture there is a 3-D effect. I've tried to capture in 2 dimensions what the eye sees in 3 dimensions in the 3rd picture--this is not the true color. If you purchase these grips and don't like them I will pay the shipping both ways. I have offered that several times over the years and have never had a set so-described come back. These grips are really beautiful. (Shown with our 8 line heat-treated gold and our 24 line stainless decorated grip screws--decorated screw sets sold separately)

Our grips are made to exacting specifications with the best quality material available. The critical hole sizes, locations, counterbores, and clearance cuts are thoroughly checked on several frames. These grips fit perfectly on standard Colt, Wilson, Springfield Armory, Kimber, Caspian, etc. 1911 style pistol frames and should fit any standard 1911 frame. They have not been relieved for ambidextrous safeties; however, we can do this upon request. An ambi cut typically adds +/- 7 days to the shipping time depending upon when an order is placed. We set the mill up once a week to do ambi cuts.
